The Beacon is a new development project that was built on top of an existing concrete structure comprised of retail space and eight levels of parking. Considerations of massing, services, and program produced a preference for the community spaces of The Beacon to be located on the penthouse level including a party room, roof patio, and a chef’s kitchen. Level twenty-one includes deluxe units with spacious skyline terraces. An exterior halo of lighting around the edge of the terrace produces a dramatic ‘lighthouse’ effect, rendering The Beacon recognizable as a premier Cleveland address.
